Fix PrimeOS Google Play Store Sign-in Errors and SafetyNet Issues
I'm trying to sign into the Play Store to download PUBG, but every time I enter my email, it just says 'Checking Info' for ten minutes and then crashes. Sometimes it tells me the browser isn't safe. I tried clearing the cache for Google Play Services but it didn't do anything. How do I get Google apps to actually work on this?

Admin Answer

This usually happens because the Google Play Services version included in the ISO is outdated. Here is the trick: Open the built-in browser and search for 'Google System WebView' and 'Google Play Services' APKs on a site like APKMirror. Install the latest versions manually.

If it's specifically giving you the 'Not Safe' error during sign-in, try updating Google Chrome first. For some reason, the login window uses the Chrome 'engine' to render, and if Chrome is ancient, Google blocks the login. Once Chrome is updated via APK, the sign-in screen should load perfectly. Also, make sure your Date and Time are set to 'Automatic'—if your system clock is wrong, Google's security certificates will fail every time.
