PrimeOS WiFi Not Working Fix: How to Enable Wireless on Laptop
I finally got PrimeOS up and running, and the performance is actually great, but I can’t get online. The WiFi toggle in the settings won't even stay 'On'—it just flips back to off immediately. My laptop uses a Realtek wireless card. Is there a way to install drivers on this thing or am I stuck using an Ethernet cable?

Admin Answer

Welcome to the 'Driver Desert.' Android-x86 builds like PrimeOS don't have the massive driver library Windows does. If your internal card isn't recognized, the easiest workaround is to use Bluetooth Tethering from your phone if your Bluetooth works, or buy a cheap USB WiFi Dongle (specifically one that says it's Linux-compatible)
